Hi I’m Jess! A Seamstress on the Wirral ready to make, alter and repair costumes, special occasion outfits and everyday items.
Through my ongoing career in Theatrical Costume and Wardrobe I have experience to make, alter and repair garments. From wedding dress alterations to replacing buttons and everything in between.
Items we already own are the most sustainable, any way we can revive and rediscover these items can lead to cherishing what we do have and ultimately saving from landfill - that’s where I come in!

Whether its Bridal alterations, shortening a trouser hem and everything inbetween, the right fit can tailor an item of clothing to fit you. Improving the look and and fit can transform how you feel in an outfit, meaning it no longer languishes at the back of the wardrobe.
We are all a wonderful variety of shapes and sizes so standard shop sizes can never be expected to fit us all perfectly. That is where I can help!
RePair
From replacing a missing button, repairing a torn lining, fixing a broken zip and so much more…our existing clothes deserve to be cherished and repaired. I love to re-work existing items and waste fabrics and turn them into something new, especially outgrown baby clothes or those of a loved one and transforming them in to cherished memory bears.
Changing elements of a garment can breathe new life into it and re-using existing items can save them from landfill as well as create one of a kind items expressing your own individuality.
